Button When & Where
Sunday 1st October 2017
5.30pm (for a prompt start on the water at 6.00pm)

Lee Valley White Water Centre
Station Road, Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. EN9 1AB
Button Details
We are paddling as part of a 1.5hr exclusive booking together with Bucks Scouts. It is therefore essential that you have paid, are changed and ready promptly, to go on the water after a briefing at 5.50pm. Therefore please ensure you arrive by 5.30pm at the latest, ready to pay, change and do any paperwork.
The exclusive booking means that those who want to play on the course can, while we can run introductory training on the gentler lower part of the legacy course. This means that you notify us that you intend to come and pay us on the day (not Lee Valley).
The trip to the Lee Valley White Water Centre takes about 50 mins, assuming a clear motorway.
Button Competence
Paddlers should be at a good BCU 2 star standard, and must be both competent and happy capsizing with a spray deck.
This is not suitable for complete novices.

Take the M25 North to Junction 25, at the roundabout take the A10 (left) signposted Waltham Cross,
Continue half-a-mile to the next roundabout, here turn right (A121) into Winston Churchill Way.
Follow the A121 through Waltham Cross and over the railway line.
Once through Waltham Cross and the dual-carriageway ends you are looking for a left turn into the Lee Valley White Water Centre.
You will likely be directed where to park, however if possible turn immediately right once you have entered the facility into the car park nearest the entrance, or else try to park immediately on the left.
